Andrew S. Posses, CPA
Andrew S. Posses, CPA is a founding member and Senior Partner of the firm Posses & Chasan, CPAs PLLC. Andrew S. Posses has over thirty years of experience specializing in accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting services in the construction and real estate industries. His vast insight into these industries has assisted clients in reaching their professional and financial goals. His broad knowledge of the tax area has enabled clients to properly plan in order to gain the greatest amount of tax savings.
Andrew S. Posses also extensively lectured for various state and city agencies in the area of financial statement preparation and client bonding needs.
He volunteers his time to assist several not-for-profit organizations and is a member of the AICPA, NYSCCPA, and CFMA. He also has a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Quinnipiac College.
Alan J. Chasan, CPA
Alan Chasan began his career in 1986 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. Alan quickly passed the CPA exam and worked for two small accounting firms before he landed a position with Koch Group LLP. After six years Alan rose to the rank of partner and become the senior construction partner in the firm. In 2006 Alan left the firm and merged his practice with Andrew Posses to create the firm Posses & Chasan CPAS PLLC. Alan has extensive experience in auditing, tax, and consulting engagements for a wide variety of clientele. Alan provides expert business advice to a broad range of industries, including construction, real estate, manufacturing, service, retailers, wholesalers, and not-for-profit organizations.
Alan lectures frequently on various auditing and tax topics. He is an active member of the NYSSCPA, AICPA, NY/NJ Surety Association, General Contractors Association Subcontractors Trade Association, and Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.
